Niger is a landlocked West African country. It is bordered by Algeria and Libya to the north, Nigeria and Benin to the south, Mali and Burkina Faso to the west and Chad to the east

Niger has seven regions. Agadez Region is the biggest covering an area of 634,209 square kilometres


There are three mountains in Niger. Air Mountain is the highest mountain standing at 2,022 meters

Longest river: River Niger 4,180 kilometres

Biggest lake:   Lake Chad (1,350 kilometres)

National Parks: Niger has only one national park that is W.National Park covering an area of 10,000 square kilometres
