Maseru is the capital of Lesotho located on the Caledon River directly on the Lesotho-South Africa border with a population of approximately 227,880 on a land area 138 km2. The common means of transport include the following;

Buses

Buses provide services in the city and also connect the city with the farthest urban areas of the country.

Shared Taxis

Taxis with marked routes drive around the city looking for passengers.

4×4 wheels

There are four wheel taxis that take special routes within the city centre and via Sani Pass between South Africa and Lesotho but mainly stop at Moeshoeshoe Road.
